Our commitment to our residents, team members, and community.

Now that the coronavirus COVID-19 has been recognized by the World Health Organization as a pandemic, our response is as follows:

Our Residents

  • Resident classes and social outings will be canceled in an effort to reduce physical contact. We will continue to conduct private activities in place of regular classes with our immediate staff.

  • We're taking extra safety measures during meal times and have increased our cleaning routine to disinfect common areas.

Our Staff and Volunteers

  • Our staff will continue our daily work. We will be limiting public meetings but will be available via email or phone until further notice.

  • All volunteers should connect with their immediate project leader to learn more about canceled or postponed classes or activities.

  • Volunteers or staff who are most at risk of being affected by the virus will be encouraged to work remotely or rest. We understand that everyone must do what is best for their health and we will support each person's decision.

Our Community

  • Our Redefined Hope Boutique & Coffee shop will be following the necessary precautions and will be temporarily closed. As always, thank you for your support, please SHOP Online & Enjoy Free Shipping! Code: HOPE4ALL

  • The Freedom Barn will continue to promote social distancing and follow guidelines and recommendations by the CDC and our local government. Please email if you have any questions regarding a currently booked event or information on booking a future event.

  • Now more than ever, we should be spending time in prayer. Although our Hope Prayer Center is closed, our prayer center director, Stephanie Nolen, has organized a prayer vigil where people can pray from home if they are unable to come to the prayer center. Please sign up here if you’d like to participate.

  • Our Saturday 10:30 AM tours are now cancelled. Please stay tuned for more information about future tours through our website or social media platforms.

  • The David Nolen Pantry of Hope continues to be open every Monday and Wednesday from 4 PM - 7 PM. Please click here to schedule a private appointment outside of that time.

  • We want to continue imparting hope to our community! As preventative resources are becoming limited for everyone, the Women of Hope and our staff will hand-sew Hope Shields (a.k.a. face masks.) Click here for more information and to learn how you can get involved!

All the promises God gives us in Scripture are true now more than ever. The Lord is with us during this time. Isaiah 41:10 says, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”If you have any prayer requests, you can email them to We will continue spreading the hope of Christ and we extend our love to all of you during this unique time of need.
