Melissa Owens

Hi, I’m Melissa! I am so grateful to be a graduate of Hope Center Indy’s Take Heart Residential program and now part of the marketing team. I love to write and share poetry, and my hope is that my words will encourage others and remind survivors that they are not alone. Purple is my favorite color, and butterflies and sloths bring me joy. I love the sky because it’s a constant reminder of God’s creativity and sovereignty. The same God that created the sky, created me with purpose, care, and with a story worth sharing. Most of all, I love the Lord, and I am thankful for the chance to use my voice to spread awareness, care for survivors, and shine a light of hope wherever He leads me.
