Co-founder/ Executive Director Pastor Hubert Nolen has been involved in Church planting and Pastoral ministry for over 40 years. He was the Founding Pastor of Brookville Road Community Church in New Palestine, Indiana. In his time in Pastoral ministry, Nolen was able to build an extensive network of relationships with men and women around the world. His experience in managing missions budgets, working with elder boards, and developing leaders has prepared him for an undertaking that could be the largest aftercare center in the world for women coming out of Human Trafficking. Pastor Nolen was led to start, what he calls. Hope Center Indy after seeing a short video clip of a testimony of a girl who went through the Dream Center program in Los Angeles. That video was a milestone marker that set him on the course to creating a Hope Center. Pastor Nolen then put together a one year transitional process that would allow him to dedicate his full time to starting this undertaking. As soon as Pastor Nolen moved into starting this new ministry, a 25 acre campus less than a mile down the road from Brookville Road Community Church opened up for sale. In October of 2016, Hope Center Indy was moved in and started building their staff, renovating the building, and building the program to become an aftercare center for women coming out of human trafficking. Pastor Nolen currently lives on the family farm in Shelbyville, Indiana with his wife of 41 years. They have 5 children and 9 grandchildren.
Co-founder/ Associate Director David is 27 years old and is the son of Hubert Nolen. He has been involved in church planting, teaching, and worked in missions for over 5 years. He is also the Co-founder and Associate Director of Hope Center Indy. Nolen is a graduate of Barclay College with a Bachelors in Christian Ministry Leadership. Shortly after deciding to dedicate his life to do ministry, one of Nolen's best friends died in an accident. The impact of this led Nolen to dream bigger in honor of his passing friend. Nolen has shared his testimony and taught in churches, youth groups, and retreats. Much like his Father, Nolen's main gifts are vision casting, strategic development, and public speaking. After watching his Father serve in ministry, He has a passion to see people experience God's love deeply in every aspect of their life.
