About the event
What is QPR?
QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer — the three simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. Just as people trained in CPR help save thousands of lives each year, those trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help.
Why Attend?
Mental health, addiction, and depression are pressing health issues in our communities and beyond. This QPR training, conducted by Healthy365 staff trained through the QPR Institute, equips individuals to recognize signs of distress and suicidal ideation in friends, family members, classmates, or coworkers. Early recognition and action can prevent harm and ensure those struggling get the support they need. Together, we can help save lives!
