Fight a good fight.

It is amazing how many military terms are in the Bible. We are called soldiers, we are part of God’s army, there are heavenly hosts fighting, we are told to fight a good fight, endure hardship as good soldiers, wear armor, stand against the enemy, stay alert against our enemy, and so much more.

God made these principles of warfare very clear. We use military terms regularly at the Hope Center because we know we are in a battle for souls. We know that we are in a great battle against the injustice of slavery and that the kingdom of darkness is at the root of human trafficking.

Today I want to call you to fight! Fight for the souls of men and women and children in your sphere of influence.

Frances Schaffer said, “We are locked in a battle. This is not a friendly gentlemen’s discussion. It is a life and death conflict between the spiritual hosts of wickedness and those who claim the name of Christ."

I pray this blessing over you in the battles you face:

“May your hands never weaken, May your feet never stumble

May your sword never rest, may your shield never rust

May your helmet never break and may your breastplate never fall

And may your strength rest forever in the power of almighty God."
