Password: PRAYER

In Luke 18 we read of two men who went to the temple to pray. One was a prideful Pharisee who bragged of his good works to the Father. The other man was a tax collector and he asked God to be merciful to him, a sinner. The Scriptures say it was he who went home justified.

The only password is prayer.

I love this quote from, God’s Little Devotional Book on Prayer, “God looks not at the oratory of your prayers, how elegant they may be; nor at the geometry of your prayers, how long they may be; nor at the arithmetic of your prayers, how many they may be; but at the humble sincerity of them."

Thank you for your sincere and humble prayers on behalf of the Hope Center. For those of you who live nearby, I want to invite you to pray on our campus in the Prayer Center anytime Monday through Saturday from 9-5. We have a prayer service on Tuesdays at ten and a Wednesday night service at seven that you are welcome to attend also. Or if you would like to do a prayer walk at our campus, please contact me at: cknight@hopecenterindy.org and I will be thankful to set it up!
